Supported Software

Mobilitat software will run on the following versions of windows and integrate with the following software.

Workstations

• Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Business or Ultimate, Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate.
• Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 or 2010. Microsoft Office Professional is recommended
• Mappoint 2006, 2009, 2010. Mappoint 2010 is recommended for up to date street data.

Server Software

• Microsoft Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Business or Ultimate, Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2. SQL Express editions will work for systems using fewer than 4 connected workstations.

• Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate recommended for new systems.
• MS Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Business or Vista Ultimate are also supported.

• Available USB port

• Recommended 19” or larger viewable screen monitor. Dual monitors strongly advised for dispatchers.

• Intel Pentium (Dual core) processor at 2.0 GHz and 4GB Ram. 8GB Recommended.
• Windows Server 2003 or Server 2008
• Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, Windows Vista Business or Vista Ultimate and MS Windows XP Pro are also supported.
• Microsoft Office Professional 2003 or later.
• 80 GB hard drive
• Available USB port
• CD-RW drive
• Network connectivity
• Backup media (CD R/W or tape)
• 17” monitor

Notes

• * Regarding Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7, please note Home versions (Basic and Premium) do not have some features Easy Rides requires. Make sure you purchase computers with either Business, Professional or Ultimate versions of Windows.
• The server should not be a computer running as a Domain controller or as an MS Exchange server. Contact us if you have any questions about your server configuration.
• Some users may wish to use the server as both a server and a workstation, if this is the case you will need to meet the requirements for both the server and the workstation.
• For added performance we recommend purchasing additional ram for your systems.
• Mappoint 2009 or later required for Easy Rides Plus.
• Mappoint 2010 is the most current version of Mappoint.
• MS Access 2003 or later required for MS Access based customer driver manifests.
• MS Office 2007 is the most current version of Office. However Office 2010 will be released in June. Please check with your vendor to see if you qualify for a free upgrade from Office 2007.
• For systems which include off-site locations, requiring remote desktop connections, please contact us to discuss the requirements for running Easy Rides over terminal services.
